"Remember, singers, musicians, levites...it's not your gift God wants. It's you. The time we spend with God in secret, this is what really matters. This is the charge upon us, Bethany Worship, simply: To Love God More 💞 You can't worship someone you don't love. You can't love someone you don't know. You can't know someone you don't spend time with. Bethany, we must get closer, it's time to draw near to the Lord Jesus. Love is spelled T I M E. What is the cost of drawing nearer to the Lord? T-I-M-E. Don't cheat yourself out of intimacy with God anymore. Reach for Him, as often as you can. Keep God on your mind. Since you're already spending time with your music - spend time with Him also. Don't block him out, Be Present with Him as you practice. Get the value out of daily life experiences and make them into worship experiences. Bring Him into everything!! You'll find yourself enjoying your walk with God more and more. Lastly, Don't always be in a hurry to do the next thing. Choose to steady yourself in prayer. Resist distraction. Resist the urge to run. 🏃‍♀️ Stay longer in the presence of God, even if it's just silence. Join me in seeking the Lord, for the sake of finding Him.
